track laying query

Just spent the afternoon constructing a small oval with radius three curves at each end, i have used a tracksetter template for both ends but one is 5mm less diameter than the other, how can this be. the template can be slid round the centre of track on both semi circles

So the curves are made of flexi. You used the tracksetter and fixed the track with pins with the tracksetter in place?

no they are not flexi they are stock curves out of the pack

Then you haven’t got the track joined squarely together. If it is joined properly the curves will be identical. They have to be.
