Anyone seen a low flying BBQ cover
Cover retrieved. It was spotted by the chamber maid when she saw it out of the tower in the west wing. I got one of the gardeners to pick it up from where it had wrapped itself against the folly on the other side of the ornamental lake just past the orangery.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician
In the big Hurricane what Hurricane in the 80's my mate woke to find he had gained a nice new Caravan in his back garden, completely undamaged
Trouble was unlike his neighbour who was the original owner he didn't have any access to the road from his garden, the insurers had to hire a crane to lift it over the brick wall back to were it lived. And they did more damage lifting it back than the wind did blowing it over in the first place.
One very windy day long ago afore we decamped overseas a rickety old shed in the builders yard out back flew over our bungalow roof and took out the conservatory..
We were alerted by our next door neighbour (the other side) ringing to say he had found our floodlight inside his greenhouse. This had been securely bolted to our conservatory roof.
SWMBO went home from work to find the conservatory trashed.
Needless to say our house insurance sorted it all out as the builder was shy on stumping up for the repairs and they took him to the cleaners.
