I’m afraid I work like Steve, not to the same standard, if I decide to change something I like it to be done within 24 hours.

Frustrated by the speed that glue dries. Fitted the point motors and ballasted this morning but I now have to wait for the glue.

No pics of wet ballast to show.............thankfully.

I got mine from the house we used to live in near the Border Counties Railway. Not as good as 'steam coal', but it will do.

Made a start on covering the hill at the other end of the layout.
Yesterday I hacked the polystyrene around a bit more to create a little more variety to the slope before making a few small rock faces using Woodland Scenics moulds and plaster of Paris.

And having replenished my supply of plaster bandages I coated the hillside with PVA followed by the bandage. The rocks were stuck on with more p.o.P..

Once this has hardened off a little I’ll finish encasing the polystyrene on all the other surfaces.
