My experience is quite the opposite. After several attempts to register using my normal win10 desktop and Firefox, I eventually managed to register using my android phone. Now I cant log in via the desktop! So I'm writing this on my phone. There is no way I can continue to post only using the phone as the keyboard is too small. Done the usual clearing cache etc. Do mods know of a problem? Has anyone else logged in using Win10 and Firefox?

No idea? I use Win 10 and Chrome on both PC and laptop. These let me in and out etc without a problem. I log out and try Firefox on my laptop. Report back soon.

OK. So now Ive downloaded Firefox to my laptop which is running Win10 and logged in without any issues using Firefox. Hence I'm typing this via Firefox. Wonder if it might be some setting in your Firefox causing a problem??

IanS wrote: Fri Oct 05, 2018 5:03 pm One more thought comes to mind, it could be security restrictions of the phone as this site is coming over via http: and not https: where the s stands for secure. Check what permissions to view sites you have on your phone as it may automatically restrict non-secure sites or ones that show an invalid certificate if it is viewed via https:
Thanks IanS, though I couldn't find the info you suggested it prompted me to have a poke around the chrome settings on my phone where I was able to clear & reset all data relating to the site. Went back to the login page and hey presto it worked.

I was also able to login on the tablet earlier without problems as well, so all is good.

Thanks all

I tried several times to login on an iPad and it constantly reported it did not recognise my username. Finally in desperation I re-registered and have been able to login each time, hope this does not cause problems later on.

Welcome back the "friendly forum", I am looking forward to catching up with old friends :D

Congratulations Brian on taking over ownership of the forum, does this mean that Flashbang is consigned to the annals of history or are you keeping it as your Sunday name.
