Following on from the old forum I thought I would create the topic here, move to other section if necessary.
After last years disappointment which some of you will remember, I pre-ordered this time when the second batch was announced and it has arrived today.
Hornby R3555 Princess Coronation Class 'Sir William A Stanier F.R.S.
My newest acquisition is "Thomas the tank engine and Annie and Clarabel.
Not everyone's favourite but I thought I should get them as Hornby are no longer
making them, and I never had them when I was younger.
David.
Some pieces of wood that have backscene potential. They were offcuts which were donated by B&Q and they have a little offcut bin. The offcuts can be collected on the provision one donates to a charity. The charity supported it to try to provide homes for the homeless people of Wales. I was pleased to support this charity and the wood looks ideal. I give top marks to my local B&Q store for doing this. I am very impressed.

You'll have to show some pictures of them...
The 66's are an ideal loco to add DCC sound to. They just make such a lovely noise in real life that it is very tempting to copy it in model form. Though I tend to prefer DC these days, if I had a 66 I'd be sooo tempted! (Yes I do have DCC and one of my locos has sound... Only one though as it cost me quite a bit when sound first came out in RTR form. I was torn between converting every loco or not.... The sheer cost of it made me think "No").
