I was thinking of obtaining one of the above.

However, my loco's are DCC, so I was wondering if anyone has successfully fitted a small decoder to one of these, and what the level of difficulty is.

I believe that this was taken up to York when the NRM first opened.

I have in my possession an older N Gauge Lima Class 33, (Circa late 70's early 80's).

All my loco's are DCC, so I was wondering if this loco is capable, or even suitable, to be converted to DCC ?

Has anyone successfully carried out something like this on an older N Gauge loco ?

I have touched the green wire to the tag on the trailing bogie and the loco refused to move.
I have had a good look and I cannot see any other tags to which the green wire should be soldered to.

One end of the green wire is indeed soldered to the brushes on one side with a smaller ...

I have recently purchased a Lima Class 52, "Western Renown".

I opened it up to give it a quick check and service, but saw that there is a green wire that is not connected at one end.

Can anyone tell me what this wire is, where it should connect to and is it necessary ...
