Re: Platforms, Stations, buildings.
B&Q sell bags of small magnetic catches which work in holding my Scalescenes retaining walls and buildings.
I use a dab of Uhu glue and providing you are not too brutal in disconnecting the plate and catch.

Re: How do I Value a layout?
Maybe take a look ar Ebay and see what layouts are selling for ? Some do seem to sell,
The reality is that most run of the mill layouts are worth little compared to the cost involved when it comes to ending the hobby.
Unfortunately there are not many paying hobbies around.

Re: Free Small Goods Store from Scalescenes
I use Scalescenes and am in the process of making a low relief station. The down loads are PDF files which can be loaded into a paint program and details altered ie move or delete details such as doors windows. Door colours cam be changed etc. The use of 2mm card is a bit of a nightmare as my cuttin...

Re: Multi connector plugs and sockets

Re: Unpainted figures
One of the problems you may run into are the differences in height of figures. HO being smaller than OO seems to leave the market open for a mid scale figure between the two. I have a couple of multi packs from a continental maker , which are a totally different height to Peco oo figures. That is as...

Re: Arc welding simulator
Late to the conversation as usual ! I was looking for similar and this old thread popped up on web search. I have been experimenting and have made a reasonable(ish) arc welder with a bright clear led and a flickering led connected in series with a limiting resistor to run at 9 volts. The flickering ...
