I pruned my model railway back sold some more kit and after my trip to Coningsby earlier this year the spark was there again so i repurposed some railway stuff ...........see engine sheds

I could call this re purposing kit ,but a had a light bulb moment . ok here goes .

When i was considering changing scales or calling it a day i looked at what i had rolling stock building etc and decided to have a massive prune .
Had 36 locos at one stage now i`ve got 12 , just enough building etc to make it still interesting .

Done a bit more work on the refurb, some stuff i did sat in the garden in the sun .
i enlisted grandkids to paint some wooden kebab skewers ,i use them as edging
its the same shape layout as before just a bit smaller
bought some 3d printed fencing off ebay very nice it is ,

These photos were taken around 1964/5 (i was 4/5} i was sorting through my portable hard drive and found myself just staring at them .
