If I manage to tick the box after the login details are input, I then open another tab on the chrome browser and close the original tab I was using which usually works and keeps me logged into the forum but lately I've been staying logged in for all of 20 minutes before I am automatically logged ...

Looks like the issue is with Postimage themselves, rather than us.
