Hi
Does anyone have a spare screw that holds the running gear to the middle driving wheel of the standard class 5 mt 73068?
My railway room carpet has just swallowed one!
Thanks.
Andy
PS I’m emailing/looking in the usual places(spares/repair websites, etc)
PPS hopefully I might find it in natural ...

Re: Mansfield - a slow burner…
A question to assist with a railway modelling era 5 project, please;
tanker wagons - would they all still be the same supplier eg Esso, or would a rake run mixed named?
Does anyone have a reference I can use? I’m well briefed on mixed freight and braked/unbraked etc, but tanker configurations ...

Re: Mansfield - a slow burner…
Hi
A couple of basic and beginner questions, but then again I am new back to this hobby after some time.
I’m considering using Code 55, but wanted to check whether is ok with older N Gauge rolling stock. I know there are some issues with older 00 scale stuff on their standard v fine scale track ...

Mansfield - a slow burner…
Hi all,
Rather than keep adding posts to the 'welcome' thread, I thought I'd start a new 'slow burner' on here. I've just spent an hour in the local library, with their OS maps from 1911/17, and also numerous photos from that era, and before/after. The photo's were simply amazing! I recall my ...

Re: Hello from Mansfield!
I get your point, but I’m a few months off from breaking ground as I’ve two other bedrooms to sort, to free up what is currently my office.
So it won’t harm anything for me to have a play with planning stuff until I can get some boards up.

Re: Hello from Mansfield!
Hi Sandy.
I spotted your layout and thought the dimensions similar.
I need to get some track planning software sorted for my iMac. I can then start to have a realistic idea of what I can fit in. I’m also looking for track plans of Mansfield railway station in the 50’s. It had a TMS and goods ...

Re: Sandy Hills The new layout
Hi Sandy,
I’m a newbie to here, and was surfing when I found your layout. I may have missed it, but could you please tell me you board dimensions, please?
I’m just starting to look at perspectives, scales and what I’m intending to model.
I was also very interested in the hinged bit and how you ...

I don’t know how to post ‘likes’ to the friendly responses I’ve had. Is there a way to do this? :? :?
The loft is a good idea, but it’s a modern 4 bed detached house so the reinforcing needed isn’t insignificant. My late dad used to be a builder, and said as much when we initially considered it ...
